Emerald Ash Borer Has Been Detected in Dedham

Post Date: 01/05/2018 1:12 PM

Emerald Ash Borer is an invasive beetle that kills ash trees within just a few years of introduction.  Although this time of year they are burrowed deep within the tree, the larva are chewing away inside.  However, external signs, such as egg sites or exit holes, are visible.  You can help preserve the ash trees in Dedham by reporting any telltale signs or damage that you observed.
