Please check your water for discoloration before doing laundry, as this maintenance activity often causes temporary discoloration of water that may stain clothing. Periodic flushing of water mains is considered a best practice for public water supply water distribution systems. The flushing action helps remove mineral deposits from the pipe walls and may improve water quality and flow.
