Council on Aging Transportation
We are happy to provide rides for our Dedham seniors, and know that for some of you , this is your only alternative to get your food and other needs. We ask that you respect our policies, and don’t put our staff or volunteers in a position that they will have to ask you to return items or to not use the bus service. For anyone who cannot be respectful of our policies, we will ask you not to utilize this valuable service.
Please limit your purchase to 3 lightweight bags of groceries
Please transport your own packages when possible. Our bus drivers are not prepared to carry your bundles They have a schedule and have to pick up other seniors for appointments and other destinations
Please contribute the $2.00 donation when you ride the bus if possible
Please call the center 781-326-1650 at least 24 hours in advance to schedule as pick up. If you aren’t ready when the bus arrives, you may miss your ride
If any individual abuses any of these policies or isn’t respectful of Council on Aging staff or volunteers,
they may lose their privilege to ride the bus
Our drivers and volunteers are so happy to see you, please be happy to ride with us!
