The Town has a comprehensive financial tool which links directly from our financial accounting software. This financial transparency site provides the public with easy access to the Town of Dedham’s expenditure, revenue, budget, and payroll information for the current fiscal year, as well as a historical view of previous years. It can be used to search details of municipal expenses and revenues by category, department, fund, government area, and vendor. The data within this site covers every level and every fund of municipal finances, from fiscal year totals to individual vendor payments.
Financial information is updated weekly. Citizens can review total spending to date or dive-in to see how funds are appropriated by department, which vendors receive which payments in a given year, or research spending for specific areas. Interactive charts and graphs allow citizens to easily analyze Dedham’s financial data. Users may take snapshots, print and export data.
