An informational meeting has been scheduled for Wednesday June 11th at 7:00 PM at the Early Childhood Education Center, 322 Sprague Street, to discuss plans for the Gateway to the Manor Project. This project was originally developed in 2001 to improve safety and function at the intersection of Sprague Street and Hooper Road. The design has been funded through a State earmark obtained by Former Representative Coughlin.
The project includes resurfacing of 700 feet of Sprague Street and geometry improvements at the intersection of Hooper Road. As a result of the proposed changes, a six (6) space parking lot is also proposed off of Hooper Road to replace some of the parking eliminated in the new configuration. In additional to the geometry changes, new concrete sidewalks and granite curbing are proposed within the project limits.
Residents are encouraged to visit the Town of Dedham website to find additional information about the project and to view a rendering of the proposed construction (www.dedham-ma.gov).
If you have any questions or concerns about the proposed plan please contact the Engineering Department at (781) 751-9350 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
