Join us from April 20th through the 26th as Dedham celebrates National Turn Off the TV Week. There are a lot of Fun and Free events planned for the week and discounts available at your favorite local businesses. What exactly is TV Turn Off Week? It is a time to stop and take a look at how much time you and your family spend doing things together and how much time you spend in front of the television. For some people it might mean turning off the television for the entire week. To others, it might mean limiting television to ½ hour (or one show) a day. It may mean going out for a walk after dinner, going on a bike ride, practicing a jump shot, building a bird house, baking cookies, picking out books at the library… the possibilities are endless.
