VACANCY—Commission on Disability
Pursuant to Section 6-13 of the Dedham Home Rule Charter, the Town Administrator calls the attention of all residents and others to the fact the following vacancies exist.
Commission on Disability – Two Vacancies

About the Commission on Disability
The Commission on Disability may have up to nine members who are appointed by the Town Administrator. A majority of the members must have a disability or be a family member of a person with a disability. One member is appointed by the town and must be a town official. The remaining members may be anyone who has an interest in making Dedham more accessible. 
The Commission strives to promote the full integration and participation of people with disabilities in all activities, services and employment opportunities of the community. The Commission advises and assists municipal officials in ensuring compliance with Federal and State disability laws and provides information, referrals, guidance and technical assistance in all disability related matters.
Generally, the Commission meets each month, beginning at 7:15 P.M. at the Emeritus at Wilson Mountain, 391 Common Street, Dedham.

How To Apply
Any person who desires to be considered for appointment for this position must respond between August 28th and September 6th; interested persons shall file with the Town Administrator, his/her name and residential address, and a resume and/or statement which sets forth in clear and specific terms the qualifications he/she holds for the position.
