Dedham Day

DEDHAM DAY HAS BEEN RESCHEDULED TO OCTOBER 25TH FROM 12 pm TO 5 pm.

The Friends of Dedham Recreation and the Friends of the Dedham Pool will hold their  19^th annual Dedham day on Sunday Sept 27th,2009  starting at 12 noon at John Barnes Memorial park.  There will be a barbecue, games, rides, crafts, shows and music.  If will be a real family fun day for all!!!

It will also be the Annual Memorial mega (cow flap).  A field will be divided into 3,000 individual deeded one yard squares.  Deeds will be sold at $10.00 per square.  This gives you the opportunity to share in $9,000.00 in prizes.

1^st prize….$5,000.00….2^nd prize…..$2,500.00….3^rd prize….$1,000.00 4^th prize….$500.00

At 1 o”clock, “Juliette the cow” will be lead onto the deeded field.   The first plot that she fertilizes wins $5,000.00, the second $2,500.00. The third $1,000.00 and the fourth $500.00.  All instructions are contained on your deed.  If “Juliette” fails to fertilize the four plots by 3:30pm, a drawing will be held for the number of prizes that were not fertilized.

We need many volunteers for Dedham Day. If you would like to volunteer please call 781-751-9250. We need all volunteers over the age of 17 to fill out CORI forms before hand.
