Bike Rodeo

The Dedham Recreation Department, in conjunction with the Police Department, will be hosting the annual Dedham Bike Rodeo on Wednesday, July 25, 2012. The event will be held at Endicott Estate. Activities will begin at 10:00 and will last until 1:30. The Rodeo is free for all Dedham residents and will feature an obstacle course, bike repair, shows by various groups, and the annual water hosing by the town Fire Department. Each child will be given a t-shirt, a free lunch, and a ticket for the raffle (where 2 bikes will be raffled off to some lucky winners, along with movie passes and free pizzas).

 

Recreation staff members will be riding with children on bikes from each playground. Bikers will leave at approx 9:30 from each park. Riverdale playground will have the option to ride by van and have bikes brought over in town truck.

 

Transportation will be provided to all Riverdale attendees. Please bring bikes to Riverdale School at the regular time. Children will ride in vans and bikes will be transported in the Town pick up trucks to Endicott.
