Commissioners of Trust Funds

The commissioners of trust funds shall, so far as consistent with the terms of the trusts, manage and control all funds left, given, bequeathed or devised to the town, and distribute the income in accordance with the terms of the respective trusts. The board shall keep a record of its doings, and at the close of each financial year shall make a report to the town, showing the total amount of the funds, and their investments, receipts and disbursements on account of the same, setting forth in detail the sources of the reeipts and purposes of the expenditures. The commissioners of trust funds shall have all of the other powers and duties which commissioners of trust funds may have under the laws of the commonwealth and such additional powers and duties as may be authorized by the charter, by by-law or by other vote of the town meeting.
