Foam Day On August 1, 2012 the Dedham Recreation Department, in conjunction with the Dedham Fire Department, will be hosting our annual Foam Day at 10:00 am at the Dedham pool. Come have fun in the foam. It wouldn’t be summer without a romp in the suds. The event usually lasts for about an hour. For the event, children should bring a towel, sneakers or sandals that can get wet, and goggles. The foam is non toxic, similar to soap. Hoses will be available to wash off the foam, courtesy of the Fire department. The event lasts for approximately an hour and there is no charge and open to all Dedham residents. For more information on Foam day contact the Dedham recreation Department at 781-751-9250. Reminder to all, the Recreation Department has three parks open to all the youth in Dedham all summer long. Riverdale, Condon and Paul Park are staffed each with three recreation staff members from 9-12 and 1-3:30 Monday through Friday. Activities and trips are planned all through the summer. For more information on our playground programs please call the recreation office at 781-751-9250 or visit the Recreation web site at www.dedham-ma.gov. |
