
Summer Lacrosse Camp Open to boys and girls ages 6 to 17, the program is available to both beginners looking to learn the fundamentals of the game to the advanced player that needs help with shooting and passing accuracy. All fundamentals will be covered in addition to advanced team concepts. Staff – Jim Rutherford: Dedham youth lacrosse coach and Dedham high assistant lacrosse coach. 25 years of lacrosse playing and coaching experience. Additional staff: Dave Ferris and Brandon Kieth from Lacrosse Unlimited, Steven Parker Dedham High Varsity team. Where: S.M.A. park and rec complex - 269 Common Street Dedham MA. When: 9am to 12am: Mon. Tue. Wed. Thur. Fri. Cost: $ 150 per session {includes practice jersey} payable to Dedham park and rec. Session1: 7/25 - 7/29 Session2 8/8 – 8/12 Itinerary: 1st hour 50 min. skills - 10 min. rest period 2nd hour 50 min. team concepts - 10 min. rest period 3rd hour 10 min. recap of skills learned – 50 min. creative play. Campers need to bring the following to camp: Girls equipment : eyewear, mouth guard, cleats and lacrosse stick.
