Dog Park

The Dedham Parks & Recreation Department is currently going through channels to see if a dog park is warranted in the Town of Dedham.

In side the fenced in park area would be a picnic table and possibly a couple of benches. We have found at other parks not only are these benches good for the elderly or handicapped who bring their dogs, but also safe zones for smaller dogs.

The area that would be fenced in would be approximately 1 acre of a parcel of land that town currently owns and operates under open space/passive recreation.

We would like to see a colored tag issued to dog owners when they license their dog so we could tell who is a resident.
