On Saturday, September 13, the Military Friends Foundation will host its 12th Annual Massachusetts Run for the Fallen (5K) at Barnes Memorial Park in Dedham. This powerful community event honors the Massachusetts service members who gave their lives in the line of duty since 9/11 and invites families, veterans, and supporters to run, walk, and remember.

• Time:
  • 9:30 AM – Honor Roll Reading for Massachusetts Fallen Heroes
  • 11:00 AM – 5K Run/Walk Start
  • 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM – Free BBQ, Family Activities & Music
• Cost: Between $15-35 depending on the participant
•  400+ runners expected

Run for the Fallen isn’t just a race, it’s a heartfelt tradition that brings together Gold Star families, service members, and local residents. All proceeds benefit the Military Friends Foundation’s critical support programs for Massachusetts military families and families of the fallen.
