Members of the community are invited join us for the annual 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at the Dedham Fire Headquarters located at 26 Bryant Street on Thursday, September 11, at 9:45 AM. The Dedham Fire Department is conducting this ceremony in remembrance of the victims of the terrorist attacks that took place on September 11, 2001.

9:55 a.m.

• Apparatus roll out of bays to appropriate location in front of the Fire Station

  10:00 a.m.

• All available Fire Department personnel and guests assemble at attention in front of the apparatus and maintain silence
• Ring Bell 5 – 5 – 5 – 5 (4 sets of 5 chimes each)
• Lower flag to half-staff
• One (1) minute of complete silence
• Firefighter’s Prayer
• Ring Bell -5 – 5 – 5 – 5 (4 sets of 5 chimes each)
• Raise Flag
• Return to service
