Deficit Reduction Plan - Community Forum

The Town of Dedham invites all residents to participate in upcoming Community Budget Forums as part of the Deficit Reduction Plan Project.

Join us to review results from the recent National Community Survey and share your priorities through interactive exercises and open discussion.

Choose the session that works for you:

  • Morning Session Thursday, January 8, 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Dedham Public Library Main Branch - Perfect for those who prefer daytime meetings. Children welcome—library program running at the same time!
  • Evening Session Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at 6:00 PM at the Endicott Estate - We will also have children's activities provided so parents and guardians can fully participate.

Each forum includes a presentation on the Town's financial situation, hands-on exercises on budget priorities and deficit reduction options, and time for your questions and comments.

No registration required. All community members are encouraged to attend.

Do you have questions about the Town's budget and finances?

We want to hear them! Use this link to submit any questions you have about the Deficit Reduction Plan, the Fiscal Year 2027 Budget, and/or the budget process in general. We will use these questions to prepare more educational resources for residents and taxpayers like you, such as FAQs, infographics, and future presentations.
