About the Event
Join the Dedham LGBTQ+ Community for the 6th Annual Pride Celebration!: Dedham Allies, Get ready to paint the town with colors of love and acceptance! We’re thrilled to invite you to Dedham's annual Pride Celebration, an afternoon filled with joy, unity, and fun! Mark your calendars and gather your family and friends!
- Event Highlights: Singing the National Anthem: Festivities kick-off with a singing of our national anthem by Dedham School of Music's voice faculty member, Katie Jillson
- Welcome Address: Erin Boles Welsh, Dedham Select Board Chair, welcomes the town to our event
- Pride Flag Raising: At 1pm, we raise the flag as a Community led by Dedham Pride founder and Town Meeting member, Chris Kelly
- Delicious Food: Dedham's own Mission on Fire, event sponsor, will be offering food and prizes along with El Sonorense Boston, experts in Mexican catering services
- Pride-themed Drinks and Apps: Stop by Oscar's in Dedham Square for Pride-themed drinks and apps
- Performance by Lisa Bello: Directly following the flag raising, enjoy an electrifying performance by the talented Lisa Bello
- Dance Competition and Costume Competition: Dedham's second annual Pride dance-off and costume competition will keep everyone moving after Lisa's performance
- Dedham Vendors: Explore an array of vendors showcasing unique crafts, merchandise, and community resources. 50/50 and Basket Promotion.
- Family Fun: Bring the whole family for a day packed with fun activities on the new Town Green, and entertainment for all ages. There’s something for everyone! Come meet Ruby, Dedham's Community Resource Dog
