Dedham Parks & Recreation is seeking energetic and enthusiastic seasonal individuals who enjoy working in the community with participants of all ages. The Summer Program Supervisor is responsible for the daily supervision of seasonal summer staff and overseeing daily program operations, including sports, games, theme days, aquatics, arts & crafts, educational activities, nature exploration, and field trips.

This position requires strong leadership, organization, and communication skills. Supervisors will assist with program planning, maintain accurate records, and work closely with the Program Director to ensure a safe, engaging, and fun experience for both participants and staff. Site locations vary.

Requirements:

  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Enjoys working with children and being outdoors
  • Strong organizational and record keeping skills
  • Ability to work June through August
  • Work closely with the Program Director to ensure all participants and staff members experience a safe and fun camp experience
