The following information was provided by the MBTA East Street Bridge Project team today at 4:00 PM through their Project Notification List:
Daytime Roadway Closures Scheduled for East Street October 21-23
The MBTA’s contractor for the Dedham East Street Bridge Replacement Project, P. Gioioso & Sons, will close East Street under the bridge Monday, October 21, through Wednesday, October 23, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM each day. The closure is necessary to allow the contractor to install pilings for the temporary access ramp.
In addition to the roadway closure, some Commuter Rail parking spaces on Grant Avenue, near the East Street intersection, will be temporarily unavailable during this period.

Traveling south on East Street:
- Turn left on Sanderson Ave, then right on Cedar St.

Local access on either side of the Commuter Rail bridge will be maintained. Detour signs will be in place to indicate the routes.

Travel Tips
Those traveling through the area should expect delays and should reduce speed and use caution.
