Condon Park Splash Pad Construction Update - July 10, 2025
What to Expect: Current Construction Activities
Excavation continues this week using the heavy machinery previously brought to the site has begun. Work this week and next week will include the underground installation of water and stormwater utilities as part of the overall design of the splash pad. Some of the trenches have been dug to confirm location of existing underground utilities (as shown in photo below).
A temporary storage container has been delivered to the site and has been positioned near the parking lot, away from the onsite memorial.

Site Security and Safety
Construction fencing has been installed around the work area to ensure both public safety and site security, and will remain in in place throughout the project to protect visitors and construction personnel.
Park Access
- The playground, ball field, and parking areas will remain open and accessible
- Construction area will be clearly marked and fenced for safety
Funding Source
The splash pad construction is funded through American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds distributed by Norfolk County.
Anticipated Project Schedule
Project is expected to be completed before the end of this summer. Schedule updates will be shared as they are available.
