TOWN NOTICE - Massachusetts Run for the Fallen 5K September 13
CANNON FIRE ALERT: Between 10-11am, there will be 11 cannon shots fired at Barnes Memorial Field during the opening ceremony. Expect VERY LOUD noises and vibrations in the surrounding area as we honor our military heroes and Gold Star Families.
NEW RACE ROUTE: Start/Finish Barnes Memorial Park • Left on Eastern Ave • Right on East St • Right on Jersey St • Left on Central Ave • Turn at McKinley Ave on Central Ave • Right on Wentworth St • Right on East St • Left on Sanderson Ave • Left on Mt Vernon St • Left on Barrows St • Left on East St • Right on Eastern Ave.
- Please watch for temporary detours and closures along the route and follow posted signage. Police detail will be onsite to assist with traffic flow.
Event Schedule:
- Opening Ceremony at 9:30AM
- Road race at 11:00AM
- BBQ after the race
