Open Community Survey Link is Now Available!

Calling all Dedham residents, share with us your opinions and feedback about Town services, programs, and quality of life in this community by completing the National Community Survey, now open to everyone.

The Town plans to use this data in its upcoming Deficit Reduction Plan. The survey allows more people to participate in shaping that plan and the future of Dedham.

• Do you need a paper copy? Stop by Town Hall or the Ames Senior Center to pick up a printed copy. When you're done, drop it back off with us to submit to Polco.

Back in August, Polco delivered postcards unique survey links to randomly selected households in Dedham to participate in this survey that would yield a statistically valid dataset for benchmarking and tracking progress on various initiatives.

• If you were randomly selected and did not yet complete it, we kindly ask that you complete the survey. Your feedback is crucial and will help inform future budget decisions.

About the National Community Survey 

The National Community Survey (The NCS) was developed by National Research Center at Polco. The survey captures opinions on the economy, mobility, community design, utilities, safety, natural environment, inclusivity, engagement, and other elements of Dedham's overall livability. The results will show Dedham’s strengths, areas of improvement, and what matters most to residents. The Town will also be able to see how its performance compares to other communities across the country. 

All residents aged 18 and older are asked to visit polco.us/TownofDedham2025 and complete the survey. The Town needs input from the entire community to make data-driven decisions that will benefit all Dedham residents.

Responses are anonymous, and personal information is securely stored on Polco.
