The Town of Dedham Planning Board recently voted to approve a new restaurant on September 10, 2025 at the former Santander Bank, located at 929 Providence Highway.  The new restaurant, “Just Salad”, is a New York-based fast-casual restaurant with several locations in Massachusetts including Burlington, Cambridge, Needham, two in Boston, and now Dedham. Just Salad offers fresh-prepped salads, wraps, and bowls with homemade dressings.

The 3160 sq. ft. new restaurant will add to the Town’s growing list of new restaurants, such as Anna’s Taqueria, Dave’s Hot Chicken, Few & Far, Halal Guys, Keshar, Mecca Noodle Bar, Melty, Tavern in the Square, Tropical Smoothie, and Zocca.  Just Salad is anticipated to provide additional tax revenue to the Town through increased commercial property tax and local meals tax.

The upcoming opening of Just Salad is the result of a local permitting/regulatory process involving review by the Select Board, Planning Board, Board of Health, Zoning Board of Appeals, and Building Department.
