The 2026 Trash and Recycling Services Collection Calendar is now available to download/view through this link. Trash will continue to be collected weekly, and recycling collection will occur every other week. There is no change to your scheduled collection day.

Upcoming Collections to Note
Excess Recycling Collection - Two Weeks
Additional recycling will be collected on your regular recycling day during the weeks of December 29, 2025 (Gray) and January 5, 2026 (Maroon).
For these two weeks ONLY (one Gray week and one Maroon week), cardboard, paper, and other
recyclables will be picked up outside of your carts. Recyclables can be put in open barrels, paper bags, or boxes to accommodate the overflow from the holidays.
Christmas Tree Collection
The DPW team collects trees starting in January at no additional cost to Dedham residents.
- Preparation: Remove all decorations, lights, and plastic before placing at curb.
- Note: Collection may not occur on your regular day - leave it at the curb, we will get it as soon as we can!
