The Town of Dedham is calling for volunteers to help shape the future of the Legacy Boulevard/Providence Highway corridor. The Planning Board is now accepting applications from Dedham residents, students, business owners, and property owners to serve on the Legacy Boulevard Mixed-Use District Plan Advisory Committee.

The committee will work alongside planning consultants and town staff to develop a comprehensive roadmap for growth and development in this key commercial area. Seven community members will be appointed to join representatives from the Planning Board, Select Board, Zoning Board of Appeals, and Finance and Warrant Committee.

Selected volunteers will participate in approximately six evening committee meetings and two public forums over the course of one year. Members will provide input on planning decisions and help encourage community participation throughout the process.

Interested residents should submit a letter of interest and/or resume to Ariel Jacobs at ajacobs@dedhamma.gov by Friday, February 20, 2026. Applications should include reasons for interest and relevant qualifications.
