The Town of Dedham Department of Public Works (DPW) continues around-the-clock snow removal operations as the winter storm deposits more than 14 inches of snow across the community. Crews remain in the field working to clear roadways and ensure public safety.
Tuesday, January 27 Operations Resume
- Town Buildings: All Town buildings and offices will reopen Tuesday, January 27 for normal business hours.
- Senior Center: All classes and programs at the Ames Senior Center/Council on Aging are CANCELED for Tuesday.
- Trash/Recycling Collection: Trash and recycling collection will resume on a MONDAY schedule (one day delay all week)
- Schools: Dedham Public Schools will be CLOSED on Tuesday, January 27.
- Snow Removal: DPW crews will continue plowing and clearing operations throughout the day. Residents should expect:
- Limited parking availability in some areas as crews work to clear snow
- Ongoing equipment operations on local streets
Residents are reminded to maintain a safe distance from plows and other DPW equipment actively clearing roadways.
