Town Green Update - March 2, 2026
Installation resumes this week for new pavilion structure; expected to take 3 to 4 weeks

Great news for the Town Green! New fabricated posts for the pavilion structure have arrived, and our contractor, Onyx, is onsite today clearing snow from the area to prep for installation. The Onyx team will be back working onsite this week to resume the pavilion structure install that started back in January of this year.
While the weather brought its own project delays, the additional pause was due to the fact that the original structure posts had to be remade because of a manufacturer error. This was resolved at no additional cost to the Town.
Pavilion structure installation is expected to take 3 to 4 weeks, with a target completion date of mid-April. This also provides time for Onyx to wrap up remaining project items.
As for the project budget, we are happy to report the Town Green project remains on budget, funded through a combination of taxpayer funds, grants, and generous community donations.
