For the second year in a row, the Dedham Conservation Commission is offering an educational seminar tailored for local contractors, tree management companies, landscapers, business owners, and homeowners will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2026 from 5PM to 6PM in the Public Safety Building training room, located at 26 Bryant Street in Dedham, MA. This seminar aims to provide valuable insights and practical knowledge on working near wetlands, rivers, floodplains, and vernal pools.
Participants will receive educational materials that can be utilized in future projects, along with a Completion Certificate upon finishing the seminar. Key topics will include understanding wetland regulations, identifying wetland areas, conservation department online resources and permitting process, and best management practices for erosion and sediment control.
