Deadline to apply is March 30, 2026!
The Commission on Disability is announcing the availability of two grants to assist two Dedham residents in attending a summer program of their choice in 2026. Each grant of up to $1,000 will be awarded to a qualifying person who meets the following criteria:
- Between the ages of 3-22.
- Has a documented physical, intellectual, or developmental disability.
- Has demonstrated financial need; and
- Has identified a program that meets the needs of this individual.
The funds may be used to:
- Cover all or part of the program’s registration fee or tuition,
- Cover all or part of the cost of a qualified aide or caregiver who will be attending the program with the applicant as their individual support person; or
- Cover all or part of the cost of adaptive equipment or required modifications for the program.
The Grant application can be downloaded from the Dedham Commission on Disability website at www.dedham-ma.gov/COD. Applicants can submit an application using the online form or they can submit a printed application to the Commission at the following:

All applications must be submitted to the Commission no later than March 30, 2026. Grants will be awarded and applicants will be notified by April 30, 2026.
