Town Office/Building Closures
Non-emergency Town Offices will be closed on Monday, February 16, 2026, in observance of Washington's Birthday/Presidents Day, including:
- Town Hall
- Ames Senior Center
- Public Library (both locations)
- Dolan Center and new Parks and Recreation Offices at former Capen School
- Department of Public Works
- Youth Commission
Note: Police Department and Fire Department remain open 24 hours / 7 days a week:
Curbside Recycling & Trash Collection
Recycling and Trash will not be collected on Monday, February 16. As a result, all collections will be delayed one day for the rest of the week (see table below):
