Below you will find the weekly programs provided by the Dedham Council on Aging. These programs are for those 55+. Please pay attention to the location of the programs as some of them are off site. These programs do not require advanced sign up. For more details please look at our newsletter.

Weekly Scheduled Activities:

Held at the Dedham Senior Center: 735 Washington Street:

Mondays: Bingo 1:00pm-3:00pm

Wednesdays: Knitting & Crocheting 10:00am-12:00pm, Quilting 12:30pm– 3:00pm & MahJongg 1:00pm-3:00pm

Thursdays: Decorative Painters 9:30am & Art Class 10:00am-12:00pm-  there is a fee for this class (please contact Barbara McAuliffe to sign up for art class 508-543-2452)

Weekly Scheduled Fitness:

Your first time trying a fitness class is free. After that you can purchase fitness tickets at the Senior Center, 10 tickets for $15.00 or $2.00 at the time of the class. Questions- please call 781-326-1650 ext. 1.

Mondays: Chair Yoga 9:00am-10:00am & Zumba 10:30am-11:30am

Tuesdays: Chair Yoga 9:30am-10:30am & Tai-Chi 10:40am-11:40am

Fridays: Chair Yoga 9:30am-10:30pm

Held at Gonzalez Field, 50 Providence Hwy:

Wednesdays from September 13 until November 1: Walking Club @ 1:30pm

Held at the Dolan Center: 269 Common Street:

Wednesdays: Strength, Posture, and Balance 9:30am-10:30am & Active Senior Yoga 1:30pm-2:30pm

Held at the Dedham Pool: 336 High Street:

Register at the pool on the first day of class for the 8 week fall session. September 11- November 1
