Dedham Food Pantry: Open to all Dedham residents with proof of residence on Saturday mornings from 8:30-10:30am; with special Senior-only shopping the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month from 1:30 to 3:00 pm. The Food Pantry is located on the north side of the Dedham Plaza, 600 Washington Street. Distribution methods have been updated to meet social distancing guidelines. Prepared bags of food will be delivered to customers outside the store.  

Dedham Workers: If your workplace was shut down or you were temporarily laid off as a result of COVID-19, you can apply for unemployment benefits

Dedham Businesses: Effective Sunday, March 15, the Commonwealth of Massachusetts has banned gatherings of over 25 people and has banned eating in restaurants. The federal government has issued guidelines to limit gatherings to no more than 10 people. Many retail businesses have closed; please minimize shopping and call first to see if stores are open. 

  • Business Owners will find information about disaster loans and other program on the State's COVID-19 Resources and Guidance for Businesses.

  • Employers whose businesses are severely impacted by COVID-19 can request extensions for filing and paying unemployment contributions.  

  • Per the Dedham Board of Health, all nail and hair salons, barbershops, lash bars, acupuncture and massage services and other personal services have been ordered to close effective Friday, March 20, 2020.
