LEGAL NOTICE PUBLIC DISCLOSURE NOTICEFY2026 VALUES The Town of Dedham, along with R.R.C. has completed the state required five-year revaluation of all real and personal property located within the bounds of the town. The FY2026 values were the result of sales activity during the calendar year 2024 and show ownership as of January 1, 2025.
Please contact the office at 781-751-9130 with any questions concerning these values. The Assessor’s Office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm and Wednesday’s 8:30am to 7:00pm. |
The Assessing Department is responsible for the administration of a wide range of state laws pertaining to taxation and are responsible for performing the following duties:
- Assess the value of all real estate and personal property in Dedham.
- Oversee excise tax on motor vehicles, boats, and trailers.
- Process applications for tax exemptions for the elderly, disabled veterans, widows and widowers, and blind or visually impaired citizens.
Board and Committee Work
This Assessors Department works with the Board of Assessors. The board oversees the annual valuation of real estate and personal property within Dedham for taxation purposes.
