PUBLIC DISCLOSURE NOTICE

FY2026 VALUES

The Town of Dedham, along with R.R.C. has completed the state required five-year revaluation of all real and personal property located within the bounds of the town. The FY2026 values were the result of sales activity during the calendar year 2024 and show ownership as of January 1, 2025.

As part of the five-year revaluation process it is required that the Board of Assessors posts the estimated new values for public review; this is being done PENDING PRELIMINARY CERTIFICATION BY THE DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE. The estimated values will be available on the Dedham Assessor’s Office Website starting on Friday, November 7th, 2025 through Friday, November 14th, 2025. They will be subject to review for a period of five business days. Dedham taxpayers will be able to review the values online at the following web address: www.dedham-ma.gov.

Please contact the office at 781-751-9130 with any questions concerning these values. The Assessor’s Office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm and Wednesday’s 8:30am to 7:00pm.

At this time, the Board of Assessors would like to thank the citizens of the Town of Dedham for their cooperation over the years.

The Assessing Department is responsible for the administration of a wide range of state laws pertaining to taxation and are responsible for performing the following duties:

  • Assess the value of all real estate and personal property in Dedham.
  • Oversee excise tax on motor vehicles, boats, and trailers.
  • Process applications for tax exemptions for the elderly, disabled veterans, widows and widowers, and blind or visually impaired citizens.
