The mission statement of the Dedham Organization for Substance Awareness (DOSA)* is to reduce and community substance use by increasing community collaboration and by utilizing evidence-based prevention strategies. 

DOSA aims to:

  • Increase awareness of substance use within the community,
  • Improve communication between parents, youth, and educators,
  • Utilize evidence-based data to promote education, and
  • Encourage prevention and provide access to resources

DOSA has four key leadership members. All members voluntarily join and contribute. Current leadership includes:

Meetings

The Dedham Organization for Substance Awareness holds quarterly all-coalition meetings at Town Hall. DOSA meets from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. For more dates and times, please review the DOSA calendar

Meeting notices are posted at Town Hall and the Dedham Public Library at least 48 hours before each meeting in compliance with the Massachusetts Open Meeting Law. Meeting agendas will also be posted on this website.

*Formerly known as the Dedham Coalition for Drug & Alcohol Awareness (name change in 2019).
