Events will be added to the schedule as they are finalized, and the series will typically follow a once-a-month schedule. If you have any area in mind that you want to help clean or are part of a group or organization looking to volunteer in the community, please contact event organizer Bob LoPorto at cleanupdedham@gmail.com.
- Wear bright clothing - Be seen for safety!
- Wear long pants and tuck into socks, if possible.
- Wear sunscreen/SPF and insect repellent
- Bring water and stay hydrated
- Clean-up efforts often occur along roads and public areas. Stay near the edge or curb and avoid using headphones or cell phones to stay alert.
- Be cautious of Poison Ivy and Poison Oak in the area and take care to avoid them.
About the Clean-Up Event Series
Clean up Dedham is 100% volunteer run group that encourages individuals to get involved and actively volunteer to enhance their shared spaces through community cleanups. Local businesses and Town leaders are also encouraged to take an active role in these efforts.
And don’t forget to bring your recycling and other items for safe, proper disposal on Saturday, April 26 at the Middle School between 8AM and 12 Noon for the 2025 Dedham Recycling Day! Complete list of accepted items and fees available on our event listing!
