Each year, the Dedham Commission on Disability awards two scholarships to Dedham residents; one to a senior at high school other than Dedham High School* and one to a high school graduate of any age who is planning to continue their education at a college, university, or technical school, or planning to start a new career. 

The criteria for selection are listed below:

• An applicant with a disability
• An applicant planning to pursue a career in the field of disabilities
• An applicant who has volunteered time or has been paid to assist individuals with disabilities
• An applicant with a family member with a disability

The deadline to apply is May 22, 2026.
